DoorDash (DASH) stock declined after reporting its Q1 results, beating earnings but missing revenue estimates. Plans to acquire Deliveroo and SevenRooms.
On-demand food delivery service DoorDash (NYSE:DASH) fell short of the market’s revenue expectations in Q1 CY2025, but sales rose 20.7% year on year to $3.03 billion. Its GAAP profit of $0.44 per share was 14.6% above analysts’ consensus estimates.
DoorDash announced plans to acquire hospitality software firm SevenRooms for $1.2 billion in cash and agreed to buy U.K.-based Deliveroo for $3.85 billion to expand its European presence.
Quality compounders are flywheels.
Said differently, they’re businesses that generate heaps of profits and consistently reinvest them to produce even more profits.

Quick-service restaurant chain Domino's Pizza Inc. (NASDAQ: DPZ) confirmed its newly announced partnership with DoorDash Inc. (NASDAQ: DASH) for a nationwide rollout beginning in May, followed by an expansion into Canada later in the year.
