Finding His Place in the Energy Business
Mr. Tirone's professional journey has been supported by his seemingly unlikely academic background, which includes a bachelor's degree in music, with a concentration in music therapy, from Temple University. While he initially dreamed of becoming a physician, undergoing training as a therapist and collaborating with psychologists, psychiatrists and other mental health practitioners, a colleague recognized his natural affinities for forming strong interpersonal relationships and thorough problem-solving prowess as an obvious catalyst for success in the oil and gas industry. This prompted Mr. Tirone to explore this new career path, which afforded him the opportunity to employ his interpersonal skills to negotiate deals. His capacity for empathy and ability to understand diverse perspectives proved instrumental in creating growth and value for the companies he worked for.
Mr. Tirone served as Marcellus acquisition manager at Chief Oil & Gas LLC, where he played a significant role in establishing the company as a leader among independent producers of natural gas. In 2022, he transitioned to Wexford Minerals LP, a Tug Hill-based company, and served as its vice president until 2025. In addition to operating his company, Tirone Land & Mineral Prospects LLC, he now serves as senior vice president for Thunder River Production, a minerals and non-op firm based out of Houston, Texas.

Throughout his career, Mr. Tirone has been recognized with numerous accolades for his contributions to creating sizeable growth through meaningful substantive transactions. Beyond the Business
Outside of his primary career, Mr. Tirone is a member of the Michael Late Benedum Regional Chapter of the American Association of Professional Landmen. Keeping his passion for music alive as a prevalent force in his career, he also operates a successful custom guitar building company where he sources tone woods from around the world while building guitars from scratch for all musicians alike. He also performs extensive restorations on highly desirable, rare guitars as the owner of Tirone Guitar Company. Mr. Tirone values the creative outlets that music and carpentry bring to his daily life and believes he has found a way to bring his creativity and business acumen to confluence.
Mr. Tirone is a devoted husband and father of three children. He and his wife, Juliette, contribute their time and talent to the Christian Family Movement-USA, with both currently serving as the organization's board of directors' president couple. Looking ahead, he aspires to leave a legacy in his industry by establishing an energy company that encourages collaboration among stakeholders to address society's energy needs.
